About the Nurses Emergency Assistance Grant Fund
The Nurses Emergency Assistance Grant Fund provides short-term financial assistance to registered nurses experiencing significant hardship. Administered by the Washington State Nurses Foundation (WSNF), these grants help nurses navigate difficult circumstances so they can continue delivering exceptional care across Washington state.
Emergency Assistance Grants are not intended for WSNA membership dues or educational expenses.
Eligibility
Applicant is a current member of WSNA in good standing.
Financial circumstances from displacement and/or loss of property related to the Washington wildfires, or resulting from illness, injury, disability, loss of employment, or another crisis, have affected the applicant’s ability to meet personal or family needs.
Responsibilities of recipient
Recipient agrees that funds received from the WSNF Nurses Emergency Assistance Grant will be used to fund personal/family needs.
Recipient agrees that funds will not be used for WSNA membership dues or for educational expenses.
